Part of the benefit of attending IAGR's annual conference is the social events and networking opportunities these bring.
IAGR's social events are an ideal way to create new connections, and expand your network of gaming industrycolleagues from across the globe. It’s your chance to get to know IAGR’s trustees, and the opportunity to chat to some of the conference's knowledgeable and insightful speakers.
Plus of course, you might have a bit of fun outside the conference setting!

Whether you’re a golf novice, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, the annual IAGR Golf Day is a fun way to spend a day with gaming industry colleagues from across the globe.
Somewhat of an IAGR tradition, the day provided an opportunity to network and get to know each other, before IAGR2019 kicked off the following day.
The Golf Day was open to all IAGR2019 conference participants and took place at the Half Moon golf course, attached to the Half Moon resort (the conference venue).
The IAGR 2019 conference delegates were welcomed at a reception within the Half Moon Resort by the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission and Casino Gaming Commission.
Our guest speaker was Jamaica's Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Edmund Bartlett, CD, MP, who officially welcomed all delegates to Jamaica. IAGR President Trude Felde also addressed delegates.
The opening reception was a relaxed networking event, ideal for sparking conversation and getting to know other delegates.

On Tuesday evening we arranged a shuttle bus to enjoy some of the local restaurants.

As we approached the conclusion of IAGR2019, we invited delegates to a formal gala dinner at a uniquely Jamaican venue, the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
Attendees spent some relaxed final moments with new and old friends, and said farewell, until Boston2020.
