The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) has confirmed an outstanding list of speakers for its forthcoming annual conference, to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, September 17-20 2018. The overall theme of this year’s gathering of IAGR members is ‘Let us make great regulation - together’ with an emphasis on sharing experience and good practice amongst participants.

Delegates will be welcomed to the Conference by the Minister for Taxation, Karsten Lauritzen. The first keynote session will be delivered by Professor Chris Brady, Professor of Management Studies and Director of the Centre for Sports Business, Salford University in the United Kingdom. His session is entitled ‘Referees and players: the power of synergy’.  Tuesday (September 18) sees Ranjana Adhikari, Co-head Media Entertainment & Gaming Practice, Nishith Desai Associates (India) delivering a keynote session and asking whether Regulating gambling is a job for the state/government or the industry.

IAGR President, Dale Fuga, Chief Operating Officer, Liquor and Gaming Authority of Manitoba, Canada, said: ‘This is truly a global gathering, with almost 200 delegates representing every continent in attendance.  I am very pleased that we have been able to pull together such an exciting and topical program covering key areas such as:
