Montego Bay Dine Around - Tuesday 1 October 2019

Half Moon and Montego Bay offer a variety of restaurants for your dining pleasure. On Tuesday 1 October, you can choose to dine on property at any of the Half Moon restaurants, or go off property into Montego Bay.

Please note that the below suggestions are outside of the conference program, and at your own cost. There is also an additional cost for the shuttle, should you wish to take up this option.

Dining at Half Moon

Reservations are required for each restaurant.

  • The Sugar Mill (pictured above) – award-winning fine dining located at the historical former Running Gut Estate on the Rose Hall Sugar Plantation; smart casual, no shorts
  • Il Giardino – Italian cuisine, smart casual
  • Seagrape Terrace – resort casual dining with nightly entertainment

Dining in Montego Bay

Montego Bay offers a variety of dining options – ranging from authentic Jamaican Jerk in a very rustic setting to fine dining on the water.

A selection of restaurants have been identified below for your choice and a special shuttle service arranged to transport you into Montego Bay and back to the hotel on Tuesday evening. Costs for the shuttle are indicated in the table below and dinner will also be at your own cost.

Reservations are strongly recommended and must be made at the Information Desk by 14:30 on Tuesday October 1. Tickets for the Shuttle Bus can also be purchased there.

The Shuttles will depart from the Half Moon Lobby starting at 18:30 and pick up will be approximately two hours after you arrive at your selected restaurant.

Houseboat Grill

Featuring a constantly evolving fusion menu, The House Boat Grill is moored in the calm waters of the Montego Bay Marine Park Fish Sanctuary - a unique setting for dinner. You can dine in a cozy dining room or upstairs on the upper deck under the stars.  Dress is casually elegant and heels are not recommended. Reservations are required. $$$$$
